1. Highly Customizable Platform: LR DXP offers customization capabilities to be able to customize features and workflows deeply on top of the DXP to fit our specific logistics requirements. 2. Excellent CMS: The CMS is extensible and easy to get going. And once you have some templates and structures in place, you can apply them quickly to many pages, speeding up your presence and eliminating grunt work. 3. Collaborative and Agile Vendor Partnership: LR's collaborative attitude is impressive. Throughout the development experience, tough as it was, LR never stopped listening and fixing.
What has been most beneficial to us is the platform's flexibility, ease of configuration, strong content management features, and its integration capabilities.
The extensibility of Liferay to allow us to hook into so many other platforms.
1. Pricey: LR is a top-end product with top end service and license/maintenance costs to match. And while the quality justifies the prices, rates are much higher if you deal directly with LR than through their partners. 2. Minimal Industry-Specific Capabilities: Though LR offers many features in the DXP, there are not many ready-made solutions for logistics. Whihc means we need customization to make it work. 3. Limited AI Functionality: LR lets customers link and access their personal AI token accounts for AI-driven experiences. No out of the box AI capabilities without this integration
1. The product does not offer much in the way of OOTB reporting to satisfy user management. For instance, ability to identify users who have not logged in during the past 90 days, or the ability to find all users who belong to a specific role broken down by customer account. 2. Reliance on expensive professional services team to supplement support. 3. Online resources such as training, KB articles, and forums are lacking
