What is Liferay Digital Experience Platform?

Liferay DXP provides a complete but composable set of capabilities to create websites, portals, intranets, and other digital experience solutions for customers, partners, and employees. Liferay-based solutions typically serve marketing, customer service, HR, digital transformation, or IT business needs. Liferay DXP includes capabilities for headless content management, site and page creation, personalization, commerce, applied and generative artificial intelligence, low code applications, forms and workflow, security, roles and permissions, analytics, and headless APIs. Customers can choose to deploy Liferay DXP to their own cloud / on-premise infrastructure, or opt for Liferay's PaaS or SaaS offering. Customers with cloud commitments to major cloud providers (e.g. Google Cloud, AWS) can use a Liferay subscription to use those commitments.

Liferay has several pricing models that suit different customers needs, including consumption-based (SaaS), environment-based (PaaS), and instance-based (customer's cloud/on-premise).
