The fact that QlikView Desktop software is free is what I like the most. It offers an all-features versión for free and yo can develop anything you want for your data, all connectivities are available, so you can connect from an flat file to SQL or Oracle databases. It is a great tool for those who are experts in BI or even for newbbies who want to interact with data.
Powerful tool to run multitude of reports
Some visualizations difficult to format
You need to put some effort in formatting options to make them presentable, unlike Tableau's drag-drop logic.
Sometimes runs slow when many users are trying to get a report at the same time (i.e. month end reports, etc...)

Powerful tool, sometimes runs a little slow when dealing with large amounts of data.
We utilize Qlikview reports on an almost daily basis here at the hospital.
