The clinical software is for the most part fantastic. Our provider is very pleased. However, the billing software and credentialing pieces are terrible. Athena sells itself as an expert in the billing and credentialing industry and that is entirely untrue.

Intuitive and easy to modify

Ease of use is definitely a plus. Practically anyone could jump on the system without training and figure it out. It's incredibly user friendly.

I like how easy it was to learn how to use everything that Athena has to offer. Its also grat how many different things you are able to do with Athena.

Does not integrate with all products that we use in our practice

Customer service is useless. Product wise their billing team is uneducated and unprepared to handle the volume and intricacies necessary to handle patient billing.

I dislike that today's appointment side bar is always disappearing and I am constantly having to add it back.

We use Athena at my place of work for registering and billing patients. Athena is a very reliable software program to use as we very rarely have any downtime or periods where Athena is not working.The software is very easy to use, only took me a an hour or so to learn how to register patients. I also love that there are all kinds of preprogramed forms in there that can be printed out for patient to sign. The layout is great and easy to look. Over all great program, would highly recommend.

We have a very complex environemnt with over 100 value based agreements for over 1,000,000 financial at-risk members across 7+ clinical integrated networks (CINs). The vendor was able to bring up the first instance for one of the CINs in 2 months. Training was relatively easy since users provided positive experience on the ease of the User Interface
