Qlikview has completely changed our analytics efforts in a positive way. Prior to Qlik reporting was mainly based in excel. This proved challenging from several aspects. One major sticking point was the data size limitation. We often need to analyze millions of row of data, and that can be a pain if not impossible in excel. Qlik gave us the abiltiy to merge and navigate these large data sets in a much more efficient manner.

The ability to explore large data sets in their entirety, and the flexibility to expand the data model for more in depth analysis.

The product is very easy to use and can read data in various formats having experience in database adds advantage to use this tool.

Its capabilities to do both modelling as well as presentation in same app. For other tools we need two tools for same thing.

I've had a few issues with the documentation providing conflicting information, or not accurately representing the most current product. Ultimately we've been able to find solutions, but it's not always from the first stop, the help docs.

some time dealing with large amount of data makes this tool slow in terms of performance and in terms of real time data it doesn't works well.

Adaptability for new data sources. And community available for the issues.
