The ease of use. I've used Quickbase before and after they released their new UI functions and it made a world of difference. I am very creative so being able to see what the end user will see in real time while I build the forms ensures they have the best possible experience as well. I have yet to come up with a problem or idea that Quickbase cannot help me implement.
It's so easy to build processes, dashboards, reports, etc. Once you have an idea in mind, it usually doesn't take long to implement it.
Quickbase is highly customizable which allowed us to create a platform well suited for our unique use case. Using both pipelines and API calls, it is very easy to connect our other tools to the Quickbase platform, to both pull data created in Quickbase, and to keep Quickbase up to date with data from those tools. When we need support, their support is very quick to respond, and is very helpful in completing the requests. Quickbase also allows us to use custom HTML in emails to create internal messaging that has greatly improved our overall response rates.
I get complaints from end users about the complexity of the program. Though there is a limited amount that can be done to address that issue due to my needs to collect information. The way relationships are defined are a bit difficult to understand without help. It's easy to get them set up backward and get frustrated with the error. Additional information or real time help regarding how the issue could be fixed would be a big help.
Some really cool features are rolled out, and then the development team goes and focusses on something else instead of listening out for user feedback and jumping on those much desired improvements/fixes to bugs.
The process of testing out new pipelines and options is a bit too convoluted, involving creating a copy of the app, a copy of the pipeline, and having to test that way in order to avoid testing in production. Pipeline services get congested at certain times of day, which occasionally causes missed steps or delayed pipelines. Quickbase AI is not even close to ready for primetime, it regularly makes bad assumptions or makes bad recommendations.
