The rep. presented well thought out methodologies to apply to myself, my team and even tied to organizational skills. Our moderator's energy, ability to read the room and interact with stakeholders was a game changer. Additionally, the Rain Group Sales methodology is research based. This way you and your team are being educated on tried and true best practices that turn good sellers into great sellers. We're already seeing ROI in value selling, informing our pricing strategy and methodology (not to mention market differentiation as well).

This training covered the complete sales cycle. In line with my upfront expectations, some methods/ topics had similarity to what I'd learned during previous sales trainings, e.g. building rapport and 'old school' needs analysis which is always good to refresh. But this training really taught me also some new things and provided some clear formats/ templates I can use for preparing sales visits, sales approaches and discovering opportunities. For me the most useful was the RAIN sales structured approach itself, that is adapted to the fact that buyers nowadays can find a lot of information themselves, and a practical list of 50 sales questions to lead RAIN structured sales conversations from beginning to end.
For Sales/Solutions Engineers, feedback would be to have best practices more catered to these cross-functional revenue roles. For example, stages of sales process where a AE and SE can use the buyers blue print (e.g. discovery, demo, trial/POC, trial read out etc).
