There are many aspects of Sage Intacct that have made working in this field easier for me. Some examples of clerical duties that are much easier now include banking reconciliations as well as accounts payable. Doing so enables my team to dedicate time to other tasks that our clients value much more.
I love the fact that Sage Intacct gives me a proper and deep insight of my finances through reports which helps me to make decisions wisely. Sage keeps me up to date through real time data so that I can respond swiftly. Also I am comfortable with the security features which makes my data secure.
I love the ease in creating invoices and emailing them to customers for payment. Any revisions that are requested are a cinch to make.
I especially find that invoicing through Sage Intacct seems a bit awkward. Currently when generating invoices you are limited and cannot create numerous invoices to suit a range of clients wants and demands.
I have noticed some kind of technical issues occur sometimes which cause interruption in my work. Also, I wish there could be more customization options in the reports so that I can customize it as per my need.
If a bank has returned the payment on an invoice, the invoice will have to be recreated to collect the new payment. If the customer's address needs to be updated and an invoice or sales order has already been created, you will have to completely recreate the documents to get the new address to appear. Our company sells three different products and set up three different locations to track the purchases. If a customer migrates to another product but continues to pay for the original product, the recurring invoices will get stuck and not created if the customer is set to the wrong location.
