Performance of Salesforce Sales Cloud Across Market Features
Salesforce Sales Cloud Likes & Dislikes
I like how customizable Sales Cloud is, it's a game-changer for sure. I admin 6 different businesses and it has helped simplify a lot of the business processes. It has helped us bridge the gap between businesses by giving them one place to collaborate, track interactions and manage accounts. In addition to that, it's become a tool for the sales teams to use while planning meetings and visits with potential customers and current customers. They can go in and see the most recent activity to help them better prepare.
It is scalable. It enables internal communication. Reports are easy to build.
I am detail-oriented, so I enjoy getting to add as many details to every lead and opportunity I get so that if anyone from my company needed to cross check my sales pipeline, they'd be able to get a lot of information right away. This feature allows for greater accountability in our business.
With Salesforce in general, almost everything is an additional cost. Whether it be another cloud service, a feature license, and sometimes even the integrations.
Some features have random limitations. You have to dig through the settings to find certain configurations. Documentation is sometimes poor.
I don't bother with some of the messaging features, such as being able to send an email through it. I also don't like generating contracts through it, namely with the way our account is linked to DocuSign. Both with email and with contract generation, I prefer being able to log in separately to those other accounts and operate accordingly. The third and final thing I dislike is having to input a prospect's information from scratch. Our leads are typically generated through a few online platforms, but I wish there was a general form a walk-in prospect could fill out and auto-populate their information into a new lead, instead of having to manually input all the info myself.

Sales Teams Benefit from Activity Tracking, Though Added Features Require Extra Spending
Working with Salesforce has been a very positive experience. The platform is a powerful tool that can be customized using the majority of declarative methods as well as code. We use it for account management, lead management, opportunity tracking and reporting. My work with this CRM has been anywhere from process automation, optimizing page layouts, cleaning up data, and improving business workloads. Our Salesforce account team is responsive and helpful to our needs which is a huge bonus. Another benefit of Salesforce Sales Cloud is that it integrates with a majority of other systems and if it doesn't integrate directly, more than often than not you can integrate via API. - MANAGER<50M USDTravel and HospitalityReview Source
Detailed Lead Tracking Improves Accountability But Messaging Features Remain Underutilized
I have used this for the past 3 years and find it to be a reliable hub to funnel in leads and manage converting my lead pipeline into opportunities, leading to revenue and growth for my business. - Senior Enterprise Customer Success Manag1B-10B USDSoftwareReview Source
Comprehensive and Insightful CRM Platform that enhances account management
Overall, my experience is positive - the platform is intuitive and well-organized, making it pretty easy to manage accounts, track my opps, and collaborate with team members. Ability to centralize data from multiple sources provides clear view of customer relationships and helps with planning. Good integrations with other tools. There is a learning curve with more advanced features though. - MANAGER, SALES<50M USDIT ServicesReview Source
Feature-Rich Platform Enhances Team Visibility but May Lack Visual Simplicity
My experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud is positive. There are a lot of features so it's always interesting how different folks on my team utilize the tool to best serve them. - Manager50M-1B USDTravel and HospitalityReview Source
Flexible Sales Processes Offset by Feature Restrictions and Difficult Configuration
Salesforce is a very complete and flexible platform which has enabled us to implement our sales processes. However, there is a significant number of big and small limitations that we have to deal with constantly. Many of which make no sense at all.
