What I like most about sales cloud is its flexibility and scalability. The platform can be customized to match all kinds of sales process, which makes it suitable for both simple and complex organizations. Features like opportunity management, lead tracking helps sales teams stay organized and track more deals effectively. Automation features like flows, triggers, schedules are always my favourite to assist sales team in all kinds of sales process and stages.
Salesforce is an improvement over our other platform in that you can easily search prior tickets and make updates as needed. It is also easy to add others as needed for visibility.
The most valuable aspect of the salesforce is the centralizatipn corner of the customer journey. We don't have to hunt for information across emails and spreadsheets. it gives the 360 degree view of a client from their first marketing to their last support tickets. 1) Opportunity and pipeline management - this visual board helps to track deals and see where the deal is stuck. 2) Reporting and dashboard builder - this turns data into visuals. We can cearte a leadboard without needing to know how to code. 3) Activity Capture and Automation - It has a path feature that guides through the sales procerss and has an automated feature that tells you when the lead has gone cold
One area that can sometimes be challenging is the initial setup and configuration. This is because it requires careful planning and experienced developers and administrators to design and maintain the system properly. Another aspect is that licensing and pricing may be a bit too much for SMBS and medium businesses.
Not having email contacts populate is our #1 issue. There is a lot of detail on each ticket that can be confusing to navigate.
It really has a steep learning curve, high total cost of learning. 1) Complex pricing- cost escalate quickly due to add on features , storage limits. 2) Slow load times- the platform is so feature high , so specific pages sometimes take time to load . 3) Mobile app limitations- While mobile app is powerful it doesn,t always mirror the desktop custom layouts perfectly.
