The product has a modern UI, easy to use even for non-IT users. It is also very easy to customize and to onboard applications and systems to be managed. The system is also capable of scaling and processing high volumes of data without having to worry.
The professional services under the expert guide/engineer program is Saviynt's only saving grace. This group seems excellent. and can provide detailed solutions. Unfortunately, we often have to use them to solve issues support cannot do and cut thru the terrible noise and inaccurate information on the forums.
Cloud services that allow for quick deployment and cost savings: Allows us as an organization to allow for quick and easy deployments for users coming and going or transferring around the company allowing us to make access changes smoothly. ML and AI functions: Leverages AI and Machine learning to increase workflow efficiency and allow better decisions to be made for users with reoccurring access changes. Good control for compliance: Provides strong security insights to allow us to maintain strong compliance and build out
As with other vendors and products, there's always the possibility of improvement in the documentation and technical support. Now they've included a mechanism to request improvements in the documentation, so it's becoming better and should not be a real problem.
Support is a huge factor. Support is very incomplete. If they find the answer, then usually no background or explanation is given. Also, they have been wrong several times and only pushing for an explanation allows us to prove that. When that explanation is asked for it is usually over a week before it is provided. The current software lifecycle requirements of their being 3 releases a year, your version must be no less than one version from current and Dev environment automatically upgraded to current within 45 days is flawed. Saviynt is doing this too fast. First Saviynt is not holding to the timeframe they dictated for the 3 releases with no advanced copies of release notes given. This makes planning very difficult. Second with dev being upgrade in 45 days you can often be developing on a different version and that version can change while developing. This is very problematic in Saviynt. Saviynt should have released the 3 version schedule this year and learned how to stick with it. Then waited a year for the other policies. Also there is no customer visibility on hot fixes applied. Current we had a major issue on our Dev environment behaving very different and had broken rules that prod did not have. We put in support ticket and waited for weeks. It was not until our CSM got involved that he looked and told us there was a hotfix applied to Dev. Later support validate it was the hot fix and that the only fix is to wait for Brisbane to be released. No details on what is broken specifically was given and we still do not know when the hotfix was applied. Customer notifications of hotfixes need to be given and visibility on the version you are running at the hotfix level needs to be provided
Support Responsiveness and Quality Issues: Technical support responses can be slow and inconsistent in nature. Some of the issues weve submitted have taken week if not months to fully resolve. User Interface: The user interface can be clunky to use. It can really lack the about to do some things expected of it. Alot of things take more clicks then they really should slowing down efficiency Performance issues: Sometimes jobs just dont run properly within the environment causing slowdowns are delays in workflows.

Saviynt EIC Supports Cloud Migration With Scalable and User-Friendly Features
Overall, Saviynt EIC is a perfect product for us who were looking for a product requiring zero development. The second key factor for us was to be a cloud native system to facilitate our transformation into a full cloud organization. Indeed, Saviynt EIC has been fundamental in the modernization of our identity management, facilitating the migration of our on-prem infrastructure to the cloud. - It Analyst50M-1B USDInsurance (except health)Review Source

A powerful SaaS-based IGA solution supporting effective access management and compliance goals
Saviynt is an industry-leading access management platform built on a SaaS model, which allows us to focus on feature delivery without worrying about infrastructure setup, resource monitoring, or patching activities. Our overall engagement with the Saviynt team has been positive - the support leadership is responsive and proactive in addressing requests. The product itself is strong and continues to evolve with valuable enhancements. It would be even better if the documentation could be further improved to be more developer-friendly, especially for teams working on customizations. - It Security & Risk Management Associate50M-1B USDBankingReview Source
Effective solution when deployed correctly
The functionality of Saviynt is very good. However, my ratings are based on our experience of the deployment and the go-live process. We were let down very badly by the 3rd party that did the implementation, this resulted in a lot of issues with a watered down solution, and we spent the next year firefighting just to try and get our implementation to a workable state. This meant that a lot of the development and extra functionality could not be worked on. The Saviynt support has been very good and was very helpful during this difficult time. The functionality that is available (which we have not yet had time for) looks exceptional - Service Owner10B+ USDServices (non-Government)Review Source
Rapid Application Evolution Brings Enhanced Reliability and Expanded Feature Roadmap
Great engagement with product and support teams. The application has evolved very quickly in a short space of time, and is much more powerful and reliable than when we first started with it. The roadmap for new features is always full.
