Saviynt Identity Cloud Likes & Dislikes
Automated lifecycle management: Saviynt excels at automating the Joiner-Mover-Leaver process across diverse user types (staff, contractors, vendors, students). This has significantly reduced manual provisioning and de-provisioning tasks, improving efficiency and compliance. Flexible integration and customisation: Saviynt integrates well with our upstream and downstream systems, giving us the flexibility to tailor workflows and connectors to our specific needs. Support responsiveness: Saviynt's support team (and management) is consistently responsive and helpful, whether it's regarding product bugs or configuration issues, there's a willingness to engage and help maintain momentum during continued development.
Read Full ReviewThe professional services under the expert guide/engineer program is Saviynt's only saving grace. This group seems excellent. and can provide detailed solutions. Unfortunately, we often have to use them to solve issues support cannot do and cut thru the terrible noise and inaccurate information on the forums.
Read Full ReviewSaviynt EIC exceeded my expectations for implementation speed and ease of use. EIC's adaptability to a variety of data sources and unique configuration needs has allowed us to meet the often-changing needs of our dynamic environment. Moving from a complex on-prem implementation of our former solution to a stable SaaS implementation has allowed us to reduce our support hours and has improved team job satisfaction. Overall. EIC allowed us to streamline and simplify our Identity implementation.
Read Full ReviewLimited customisation and UI constraints: There are limitations with customisation within the Saviynt platform, restricted to colour scheme and banner image. It would be nice to be able to pin/favourite specific sections for easier navigation. Learning curve: Customising and configuring Saviynt requires proficiency in multiple languages - including JSON, SQL, Groovy and HTML. This steep learning curve slows down onboarding or increases reliance on vendor support or consultants. Admin role management limitations: The configuration for SAV Roles within Saviynt is highly granular, which is useful but also restrictive. There is no streamlined way to assign functions to custom SAV Roles for support staff who don't need full admin rights. This makes role delegation cumbersome and increases the risk of over-provisioning. A more intuitive role management process would greatly improve usability.
Read Full ReviewSupport is a huge factor. Support is very incomplete. If they find the answer, then usually no background or explanation is given. Also, they have been wrong several times and only pushing for an explanation allows us to prove that. When that explanation is asked for it is usually over a week before it is provided. The current software lifecycle requirements of their being 3 releases a year, your version must be no less than one version from current and Dev environment automatically upgraded to current within 45 days is flawed. Saviynt is doing this too fast. First Saviynt is not holding to the timeframe they dictated for the 3 releases with no advanced copies of release notes given. This makes planning very difficult. Second with dev being upgrade in 45 days you can often be developing on a different version and that version can change while developing. This is very problematic in Saviynt. Saviynt should have released the 3 version schedule this year and learned how to stick with it. Then waited a year for the other policies. Also there is no customer visibility on hot fixes applied. Current we had a major issue on our Dev environment behaving very different and had broken rules that prod did not have. We put in support ticket and waited for weeks. It was not until our CSM got involved that he looked and told us there was a hotfix applied to Dev. Later support validate it was the hot fix and that the only fix is to wait for Brisbane to be released. No details on what is broken specifically was given and we still do not know when the hotfix was applied. Customer notifications of hotfixes need to be given and visibility on the version you are running at the hotfix level needs to be provided
Read Full ReviewWhile EIC is very customizable/configurable, there are limits to how far you can stretch that flexibility. We've run into a few speedbumps for which we've had to implement and external utility server to perform certain processes/calculations. This has resulted in us building additional complexity into a solution we were trying to simplify. Because EIC is SaaS, we have limited insight to how the implementation is functioning on the backend - there is limited access to logs, error, process performance information, connectivity, etc. This makes us more dependent on Saviynt Support for troubleshooting issues than we would like but it is something to which we will adapt. Saviynt Support is very responsive on urgent issues - possible outages or job failures - but they are a bit slow with response on the more complex questions such as script/code issues, analytics queries, and possible product bugs.

Saviynt Identity Cloud: A Powerful Identity Platform Which Enhances Efficiency & Security
The experience we've had with Saviynt and the Saviynt Identity Cloud has been positive overall. The platform offers strong identity lifecycle automation and integration with our main upstream and downstream systems, and provides flexible customisation options. Early in the process there were some challenges around documentation and visibility into product bugs, however Saviynt's support team has been very responsive, and the updates provided to the documentation have negated those issues now. Overall, our experience is improving day-by-day as our relationship with Saviynt grows, and the implementation has significantly improved our operational efficiency and identity management processes. - Director of Identity and Access Managment50M-1B USDBankingReview Source
Support Challenges and Development Hurdles Impact Effectiveness of Saviynt EIC Application
the EIC is a very powerful application. It is very difficult to learn as it requires significant development. Support is abysmal and massive turnover in the organization has affected the Service management side. Saviynt is difficult company to work with currently but if you can get thru the challenges to product will help your organization. - DIRECTOR, IAM SERVICE MANAGEMENT1B-10B USDHealthcare and BiotechReview Source
Saviynt EIC Allows for Simplification of IGA Implementation and Support
Overall, Saviynt EIC has met our needs and the vendor has provided excellent service/support. We appreciate the dedicated technical account manager who works with us one-on-one weekly to answer our questions and help us resolve our configuration and data issues as we continue to expand our implementation to take fuller advantage of EIC's features and capabilities. - Principal Engineer10B+ USDBankingReview Source
EIC MVP Delivery With Saviynt Expert Services
Saviynt's Expert Services were a fantastic partner to help us deliver our MVP capabilities for an IGA platform with Enterprise Identity Cloud. Saviynt's EIC product has helped us implement JML flows, RBAC capabilities with Role Analytics, and Certification campaigns to automate business processes at our company which previously were manually performed. While this was in our MVP scope, we also liked other functionalities available on the platform which we may pursue in the future (SOD violations, Self-service requests through Saviynt, external vendor identity management, etc.) - IAM MANAGER10B+ USDRetailReview Source
Saviynt EIC Supports Cloud Migration With Scalable and User-Friendly Features
Overall, Saviynt EIC is a perfect product for us who were looking for a product requiring zero development. The second key factor for us was to be a cloud native system to facilitate our transformation into a full cloud organization. Indeed, Saviynt EIC has been fundamental in the modernization of our identity management, facilitating the migration of our on-prem infrastructure to the cloud.
