I must mention that this is not just about the platform, but it is really about the people behind it, whom have patiently and succesfully worked with us to bring Seismic onboard. Starting from scratch, we successfully built strong adoption and governance, and the platform has improved content visibility, consistency and scalability for our commercial teams in Europe and has become a key enabler for our Sales Enablement Strategy.

Centralised Content & Easy sharing, hopefully soon connection to CRM, Presentation builder, Digital Sales Rooms, Insights/Analytics and Dashboards (the last should be easier to set-up without having to request support); Seismic Pages; AI optimization possibility - although still testing this

Ability to create Product family areas, familiar folder structure for content, ability to generate a permanent link

What I like most about Seismic is the centralized access to up to date sales and enablement content. It helps ensure consistency in messaging and saves time when preparing for customer discussions, proposals and internal reviews.

Dislike

AI Functionality (Aura) Maturity (it is being consistently developed), Complexity and Learning curve - for dashboards some things seem to be made more difficult than they should be, which means we have to hire professional services to work with us, Adding tagging and descriptions to all of our collateral manually (when we started)

Dislike

It feels like there is a lot of effort needed to derive value for 500 users in a large organization. It seems much harder to reorganize content which is a frequent fact of life at many organizations. Also, need more intelligence power for the core capabilities. For example, an automatic workflow to remediate the situation when a content owner leaves the organization and the content expires. Lack of bulk tools to preview what will expire soon.

Dislike

At times, the search and navigation experience can be less intuitive, especially when there is a large volume of content. Finding very specific or recently updated materials can take longer than expected.

    Centralized Sales Content Improves Efficiency But Navigation Can Be Challenging

    Overall, my experience with Seismic has been positive. The platform is well structured and very helpful for accessing sales enablement materials in a centralized way. It supports consistency in messaging and improves efficiency when preparing for customer engagements. There is still room for improvement in terms of content search and ease of navigation, but overall Seismic adds clear value to my daily work.

    Great partner to work with, continually adding innovation and features to the product while listening to customer feedback and experiences. A steady stream of information for customers on product launches and enhancements, how to use, customer experiences, and roadmaps. The Seismic team is always there to also brainstorm on how we (the customer) can continue to enhance our platform for our internal users. Being able to provide analytics back to teams adding content into the system so we can start seeing what is working/not working with both our internal teams and customers.
