Seismic Offers User-Friendly Learning Tools, But at a Cost
I am a long time Seismic customer, going back to when I was a customer at Lessonly (prior to their Seismic acquisition). I still love the learning application, specifically it's native course authoring tools. It's fast and easy to build a course. Our reps often say of Seismic Learning - it's like you've told me everything I need to know about my job, in 1 easy to find place! We also recently added Seismic Content. While there's been a steep learning curve related to content management and maintenance, our sellers are starting to see the value! My only concerns with Seismic are related to price. It's an expensive system, and access to SMEs/support personnel tends to be gated behind expensive services packages. While the people we engage with at Seismic are brilliant and helpful, it feels like we're paying for customer support and strategy that should be included in the platform license. Enhancing Organizational Efficiency with Seismic's Collaboration Tools
Great partner to work with, continually adding innovation and features to the product while listening to customer feedback and experiences. A steady stream of information for customers on product launches and enhancements, how to use, customer experiences, and roadmaps. The Seismic team is always there to also brainstorm on how we (the customer) can continue to enhance our platform for our internal users. Being able to provide analytics back to teams adding content into the system so we can start seeing what is working/not working with both our internal teams and customers. Finding Collateral in Seismic Becomes Increasingly Difficult Over Time for Users
Seismic is a reliable, ease to use tool for sharing collateral with prospects and customers, but it has its faults. Seismic is was ingrated deeply into my sales process; I used it for every customer and every deal follow up. The reason Seismic was so great for me was that I took the time to create my own library of key central information. The issue is, no one else really did that and finding any sales collateral in Seismic was next to impossible. Centralized Sales Content Improves Efficiency But Navigation Can Be Challenging
Overall, my experience with Seismic has been positive. The platform is well structured and very helpful for accessing sales enablement materials in a centralized way. It supports consistency in messaging and improves efficiency when preparing for customer engagements. There is still room for improvement in terms of content search and ease of navigation, but overall Seismic adds clear value to my daily work.
