Sharpspring was acquired by Constant Contact a number of years back but does not have nearly the same functionality or ease of use UX as the latter. Sharpspring functions fine as a CRM, though the clunky UI and confusing layout lead to spending much more time in the platform than anticipated. With this - often times onboarding a new user or even becoming a power user can take weeks, if not months. Overall, it does its job. However, compared to other CRM/CMS systems - it's average at best.

I like that it functions as a one-stop-shop for many features and functionalities. This allows us to save money on the back end and even save time on set-up as opposed to connecting to other services.

Ease of use to create triggers and automations, User friendly platform for Opportunity management, and task process allows for good tracking of agent behavior

Dislike

The clunky UI - You can tell that Sharpspring and Constant Contact still look and feel like 2 separate platforms. Sharpspring looks and feels data in functionality.

Reporting is lacking specifically in terms of sold products before going through a complete install, certain filters are missing key elements when you are trying to dig deep for data, and the client support for these issues is more of an is what it is type of response.

    Reporting is lacking in availability of data to provide accurate forecast of historical and future data. Automations are easy to navigate and use, but sometimes there seems to be issues with how they are triggered. We often times have found ourselves reaching out for issues which would not seem to be part of routine maintenance.
