Snow is not always capable of discovering all of the used apps on the device so the data is not 100% clear. Some hardware information like the TPM module and bios version are not visible for Snow. Sometimes it's not possible to generate the needed reports in SNOW, it's easier to just export the raw data.
The need to move to Atlas in order to get the new functionality. As the on-premise instance does not have the same SaaS coverage as the SaaS option.

I have used the Snow platform for many years. Snow License Manager is well regarded as a Software Asset Management tool, and the support and account teams have been very good and efficient. The Snow interface is user-friendly and intuitive, allowing the team to easily navigate through the platform. We have integrated the SAM tool into our CMDB platform to enhance and enrich the data. We have also introduced Automation Platform to re-harvest unused software and allow a user friendly store to request software. This streamlines the the processes and improves data accuracy for the organisation.
