Observability Platform has the capability to monitor infrastructure services, network, database services, APM, logs and traces across hybrid and multi-cloud environments and recently products included AI features such as Anomaly detection and Root Cause Analysis. The platform also has the capability to trigger multiple modes of notification such as email, SMS, ServiceNow, SolarWinds ServiceDesk, New Relic, Webhook, etc.
Only modules for network monitoring is working ok
Utilizing the various products together. NCM allows great flexibility with comparing nodes, updating configs and backing up configs. If you notice performance issues its all easy to access and navigate from a single pane of glass.
SolarWinds observability is capable of monitoring infrastructure services, Network, APM and database monitoring but the platform is lacking in AI and AIOPS features as Anomaly detection and Root Cause assist is not matured enough to give the right results. Product requires more training on AI features and they are yet to include alert ML based correlation or forecasting in their observability platform.
Poor support quality, support is not able to analyse root cause. Bugs are not solved. Product team is not able to provide timeline.
Only negative is time it takes to maintain hardware, since larger deployments require SQL server you need to have a team member with experience to query items.

We are currently using SolarWinds observability platform to monitor public cloud resources. I have integrated with AWS and Azure cloud using API based authentication and discovered various AWS & Azure resources and configured key performance metrics (such as CPU Utilization, Memory Utilization, Disk Utilization, Process down, service down etc.) alerts and configured email notification rules to trigger email when threshold is breached and configured ManageEngine ITSM monitor mailbox and convert them into incident ticket for operations team to take action. Deployed SolarWinds agent and collector server to enable detailed AWS & Azure servers monitoring.
