We have exceptionally large parameters of sites, assets and distributed authorship. Very few solutions are able to scale in a way that enables a sufficient flex in functionality and breadth whilst remaining economically feasible to sustain.
API connectors are well established no more data silos integrations are easy
It is fit-for-purpose and custom-designed to suit our needs. All functionalities and features function as designed from Day 1 without any issues. Great post-implementation support. Squiz has consistently shown their flexibility throughout the project lifecycle, including post-launch with their hyper support.
Single vendor lock-in for provision of services. Default training materials not always applicable to our configuration/of use to editors. Upgrades can be prolonged and necessitate high cost and compromise.
UI is flaky sometimes documentation could be improved
There is really nothing I dislike about the product we co-designed and implemented with Squiz, given that the solution was custom-built for our own needs based on our requirements.

Squiz Matrix as a product within Squiz DXP is the most intuitive CMS I have ever used. Great product! Our account managers are easy to get in contact with and are prompt with replies, however the time it takes for assistance from the support team can vary. Probably the only thing that holds it back.
