About Company
Company Description
Storyblok helps your team to tell your story and manage content for every use-case: corporate websites, e-commerce, helpdesks, mobile apps, and screen displays. Storyblok is a Headless CMS with a Visual Editor for developers, marketers & content editors. The Problem: Managing digital content with a headless CMS can be a difficult task. Without a visual preview, editors are often lost and need instruction even for simple changes. The Solution: Storyblok has the user experience of a page builder with a modern headless architecture behind. This gives the developer freedom and the editor a self-explaining intuitive interface.

The initiative interface where a developer can build out complex UIs but the content editors get to see a nice easy to use front-end.
Ability to create whole page sections, translations, graphql API.
- Live preview and overall editing UX - JavaScipt SDK being quite straightforward - Good docs both useful for understanding things conceptually, and technical implementation - Webhooks... maybe unexpected choice, but to me it feels like something that you could get away with not having; yet still do. So I appreciate that
It might have improved now, but early on the documentation was very hit and miss, often leading to certain features being misunderstood. This led to some features being over-complex when in reality it was a simple misunderstanding of how the system works; all of this was learnt overtime and could have just been made clearer in the early stages when the concepts were new.
The pipeline system can only truly work for an enteprise plan which can leverage mutliple spaces. Then you would need some migrations between those spaces. I think migrations CLI should be delivered by the Storyblok team.
- Multi-environment setup needing to be manual; and no way to boot-up a storyblok instance locally for automated/end-to-end tests - Typescript support is good, but we needed to build on top if it a bit. Would be nice typing worked more better out-of-the-box - I feel like the analytics tools for usage, speed etc. are a bit lacking - There are some nice integrations (e.g. crowdin for localisation) but for us, it happened to be that almost none of the tools we used had integrations. (e.g. Transifex for localisation, Growthbook for A/B testing etc.)

Storyblok Migration: Flexible APIs and Intuitive UI Enhance Developer Experience
Our organisation has migrated from our old CMS platform to Storyblok and. left the implementation as a Lead developer. The transition has been fairly smooth and so far it has been a fantastic improvement for us. I really appreciate how intuitive the UI is for both us developers and our content editors who can be less technically minded. It’s all component based so you can build out your functionality out how you see fit and with it being headless it integrates well with all the modern frameworks; we used Next.js. From a developer perspective you can really see how powerful and flexible the APIs are once you get your head around the model. Overall I can highly recommend it. - Engineer<50M USDMiscellaneousReview Source
Good developer tools and editing experience. Just some little quality-of-life features missing
The setup and the technical integration were quite straightforward. The documentation also helped us understand a headless cms conceptually while we integrated. One thing that was a bit more sub-par was the manual setup needed for multiple environments (test, dev, production) - PRINCIPLE SOFTWARE ARCHITECTGov't/PS/EdEducationReview Source
Get to know Storyblok today, it will be worth it
The product effectively delivers on its stated capabilities, and the customer support team is responsive and effective. The integration process with an existing website and developing new sites has been significantly streamlined since using Storyblok. - Software Developer<50M USDMiscellaneousReview Source
An all in one CMS that is easy to use for Developers and Marketeers
Really easy to use UI for both developers and marketeers alike - Content Marketing Manager<50M USDIT ServicesReview Source
Intuitive interface, easy publishing—overall a great experience
Storyblok is a modern, intuitive, and user-friendly CMS. In my experience, creating and publishing content was easier than with our previous platform - and I as a content creator didn't require a lot of training to make the switch. Creating landing pages and blog posts is very straightforward even for a non-technical person like me.
