The product definitely helps pinpoint areas where we need improvement. The product also helps in maintaining a good security posture. The service is great and the resources are knowledgeable. They listen to their customers and make adjustments to the product or add features if needed.
We tend to find quite a few bugs. While the features of the tool are great when they work well, it is very frustrating to use the tool when things are not working well. We've had instances where Tanium has impacted our entire production environment/network and not because of lack of due diligence on our part, but lack of understanding of how certain features could impact a large production environment.
Cost is high Complexity in deployment
The main thing is that it can be good or bad but the UI changes take some time to get used to. On the other hand, that means that they are constantly adding new features. The price is steep for smaller companies. Sometimes, misconfigured deployments can lead to very high CPU usage.
