We have been using this vendor's services for more than 10 years initially to support our on-premises operations allowing centralized back-end storage and removing the need to duplicate expensive local office SAN/NAS/DAS storage systems and more recently to provide a centralized managed service and applying data retention and disposition capability to classify, tag, and delete data that meets retention criteria. Overall our experience with Nasuni has been positive, with the vendor providing string support for both the product and our requirements to enhance the product to meet the changing needs of our business. The partnership has allowed us to evolve from just providing a way to provide managed unstructured data services to implementing a true data lifecycle management platform. Our overall experience with Azure Files has been solid for lifting classic file share workloads into the cloud without re-architecting applications. The native SMB support and Active Directory–based access control let us move departmental shares and app dependencies with minimal change, and Azure File Sync gives branch offices a fast local cache while keeping authoritative data in the cloud. Day-to-day administration is straightforward: shares are quick to provision, snapshots are useful for point-in-time recovery, and Private Endpoints plus storage firewall rules make network hardening predictable. Performance has been good when matched to the right tier. Premium (FileStorage) handles latency-sensitive app shares and heavy IOPS patterns, while standard tiers are fine for general collaboration. Quotas, soft delete, and lifecycle policies help with hygiene, and integration with Azure Backup simplifies scheduled backups compared to juggling scripts on a traditional NAS. The platform also scales cleanly across regions, and the mix of SMB and NFS options covers most interoperability needs.Read all insights and reviews for Azure Files

Our manufacturing environment produces terabytes of structured and unstructured data every month- everything from SAP transactional data to loT sensor logs from our shop floor systems. AWS Storage Gateway has given us a practical way to extend our on-prem storage into the cloud without re-architecting critical production workloads. We primarily use File Gateway with NFS for shop floor data capture and SMB for quality reports that integrate directly with SAP batch jobs. To ensure compliance, we have deployed the Tape Gateway in VTL mode, which has allowed us to decommission physical tape libraries while still satisfying auditors who expect tape-based workflows. Overall, Storage Gateway has become the backbone of our hybrid storage strategy, letting us retrain low-latency access onsite while tiering the bulk of historical data to Amazon S3 Standard-IA and Glacier Deep Archive.Read all insights and reviews for AWS Storage Gateway

Generally positive experience using Azure Local - we like the familiarity of using Azure tools and hardware flexibility for the validated options, integration of security features (such as Defender for Cloud), and cost savings over previous solutions that were in use at our organization. Azure Local helped us support hybrid scenarios where networking challenges require a local, low-latency solution for on-prem data management.Read all insights and reviews for Azure Local
