Webflow

Webflow ships out of the box with all the tooling you need to develop and grow a successful website: a solid builder, CMS, and granular access/permissions. As a user from the Marketing team, I've found that I can self-serve 90% of webpage updates and 99% of CMS updates.

It's allowed us to move quickly on page updates, product launches, and content refreshes without having to rely heavily on developers.

It's easy to organise your design files, and build customised websites. No coding is required which makes individuals like me who need to quickly spin up sites without going back and forward with developers / designers so helpful

Webflow has its quirks. The main downside I have to deal with daily is its inflexible publishing pipeline. By default, everything lives on the main branch, so you can't granularly ship select updates to staging/production. Their branch feature is helpful in some cases, but also limits you to 1 branch per page. Staging CMS items is also nearly impossible: you have to stage the whole website - plus, the staged CMS item will only show as Published, not Staged. Finally, there's the big downside of not allowing two people on the team to edit the same webpage. You have to constantly ask for Design access to make any change that goes beyond changing text or an image.

Ecommerce limitations - while Webflow is an incredible design platform, its built in e-commerce functionality is still limited compared to more robust systems. Learning curve for new users - the design freedom is powerful, but it can feel overwhelming for beginners. Pricing structure - hosting and plan upgrades can get expensive as your site grows or requires more CMS items and traffic capacity

I wish they had a slightly different folder structure on pages as it makes how we organize our much larger site difficult to manage on Webflow. This is a small ask though.
