I like that we can reuse recipes and connectors we already have in Workato. This was helpful because we already had many recipes for ERP, purchasing, and IT workflows. Slack integration was also useful for our database change review and approval scenario. MCP server support was valuable as well, especially because Claude is already used internally and could access selected data through Worato.

One of the strongest aspects of Workato is how quickly integrations can be designed, tested, and deployed. The user interface is intuitive and well0structured, making it easy to understand integration flows and logic. Workato supports a wide range of use cases, from simple point-to-point integrations to more complex enterprise-level scenarios. In addition, visibility, logging, and monitoring features make it easier to track execution, identify issues, and maintain integrations over time.
The agent and MCP features are useful, but they need careful design for real business use. With MCP, I felt that token usage increased quickly as usage grew. This may be related to how MCP works in general, but in my testing, it was difficult to process a large amount of data at once. It felt like there were practical limits in how much context or data could be handled in one interaction. I would like more practical guidance from Workato on designing smaller skills, reducing token usage, handling large data safely, and choosing between agent skills and the MCP server. A web-embedded chatbot option would also be helpful, not only Slack.
the sales people and corporate approach to customers
Although Workato is easy to get started with, more advanced or complex integration scenarios can require a learning curve, particularly for users who are new to integration design concepts. Some niches or highly customized use cases may also require deeper product knowledge and experience to fully optimize performance and maintainability.
