Workday Human Capital Management software is very robust when it comes to workforce management and planning. The software ensures proper budgeting and forecasting and automates important processes, thus ensuring compliance and reducing errors. I like the product's flexibility and affordability. Workday Human Capital Management software has a pay-as-you-use method of service payment and subscription. The software removes the need for multiple systems. Integration of capabilities of the software with other tools is flawless and it can also be customized for specific needs.
I think the configurability is a plus; it serves as a single source of truth for HR related documents/ performance reviews/benefit elections/payslips which is good; I also know that Workday has a broad set of APIs which is another benefit and allows companies to tailor their Workday configuration to their specific organization
I like the flexibility of the Workday benefits module for configuration. It accommodates the variety of benefits that we offer like medical, dental, vision, HSA/FSA, retirement, disability and life insurance. It also handles benefit life events really well.
Haven't found anything to dislike about the software. So far so good.
The UX/UI is not particulalry intuitive, it takes me a long time to find what I'm looking for, I think a HR help portal should be built into the configuration so that the Workday user can easily ask questions to HR when Workday issues arise. I also think the homepage is a bit barebones and can have more buttons/functionality - I find that it often takes a lot of clicks to navigate to where I am trying to go from the home page.
Workday continues to work on making the vendor integrations easier to set up and configure. Today, there is still a lot of work to set up a benefits integration with a vendor that does not have Workday APIs as an option.
