Very developer friendly
I like the possibility to add many plug-in features to the website easily and usage is quite simple if you want to have standard style website.
I love how simple WP Engine is and the performance. Many sites I've migrated over have seen loading times cut significantly before any caching has been enabled.
It can get expensive fast
I don't like that the website is slow and you don't have much to do about it. It's basically because of the CMS itself, but it should have more streamlining and boosting features.
The only thing I don't really like with WP Engine is the dashboard can be a little confusing for non-technical people.
