Zapier is great for basic tasks: "When X happens, do Z and Y", and that's it. But once you get into the territory of more complicated workflows that requires branches, iterations, often modifications of workflows and etc. it ends up being extremely annoying and you end up thinking about finding workarounds for what you want to do rather than build the workflow the way you want. Plus, the website is very heavy, so it takes time to load, which leads to poor user experience. Finally, Zapier is not reliable: there are times when the service is down, which is an issue for us.

It does allow you to build workflows so there's that. Also developer sdk is decent.

No code automation: I don't have any background in coding, Zapier allows me to integrate different apps and move info into different areas. The interface is quite intuitive and user friendly.

The AI system used to build the models can occasionally try to create connections that aren't possible, though in fairness this is rare.

Many features of integrations are missing, so you have to send http requests with hardcoded authentication in each of them (which sorta defeats the purpose of using an integration platform). Can't easily modify workflows. Website takes a long time to load when you have many steps in a workflow. Zapier was down multiple times.

Dislike

The testing phase: there is no possibility to force the trigger and the blank datas make the test useless. For the unknown apps there is very little that you can do. Also the features of filtering, formatting e paths are very limited.

    Zapier supports over 7000 apps without any coding skills. It supports popular and recognized apps and it has a preset of actions that you can run. In my opinion, Zapier could improve in the following areas: 1. Support, sometimes it's hard to get in contact with them 2. Flexibility of automation itself, the preset actions are a limit 3.     I think it has an easy to use interface. This product helps to save time because it allows you to connect different apps and there's no need for you to know about coding. It can be quite confusing when trying to work directly with json objects.

    I used it to integrate social media forms into a CRM, and it worked really well. The setup was very easy and straightforward, and I didn’t write any code. As soon as a lead comes in through these platforms, Zapier automatically sends the data to the CRM in real time. This saves a lot of time and resources. It also reduces errors as there is no coding involved.
