Our line of industry involves many files. Zip files allow us to send everything in one package instead of sending a lot of attachments. However, it has minimal compression for photos so email limits are usually exceeded.

When our organization started to search for a solution, the problem was: our tools and processes are not all connected and integrated. We identified that ZIP addresses one of Procurement's biggest challenges: disconnected tools and uncontrolled spend before a PO ever exists. With ZIP we can capture 100% of the spend, Enforce policy and compliance upfront (and not after the fact) and Leverage AI Agents to automate real Procurement Work.

Centralized Procurement Process Reduces Confusion and Streamlines Request Tracking

    5.0
    May 1, 2026
Before we incorporated the Zip platform, there was a lot of communication via email and slack with very little visibility into what needed to be procured, which created quite a bit of confusion with all of the different requests made by internal teams. Since implementing Zip, the procurement process has become clearer, centralized and smoother. Zip is easy to use for non-procurement users they can easily understand without any training.Workflows are simple and have very few steps in the approval process and far better visibility.

Streamlined buying process with an interface that’s simple to navigate.

Overall, I’ve had a lot of fun trying out ZipHQ overall. Unlike many old-fashioned and sometimes complicated procurement systems, the platform is modern and user-friendly, designed with the user experience in mind. The beauty of it was that it made the whole buying process so much easier. All activities are centralised (request submission, approvals and payments), greatly simplifying management and monitoring.

Zip Likes & Dislikes

Like

The No-Code Workflow Builder is exceptional. I can visually map out complex approval changes that used to live in special if a spreadsheets. If a request involved new software vendor, Zip automatically pull in our security team for a risk of assessment. The user interface is so clean that employeees actually use it which will give 100% visibility into shadow spend before the money is even committed

Like

The most standout features of Zip are being able to compress files thus we are able to have more files stored in, having multiple attachments in one file, faster sharing of multiple attachments and being able to protect it with a password.

Like

One of our favorites capabilities in ZIP is providing a guided intake experience for employees requesting good and services: ZIP classifies the request, route it to the correct workflow and direct the users to our preferred suppliers, catalogues and contracts. Also, the Procurement Orchestration and Workflow Automation work very well: Approval paths adapt dynamically based on spend threshold, risk category, and vendor type.

Dislike

The Renewal management side he still feels slightly less mature than the initial intake site. While it alerts us when a contract is ending, the workflow for renegotiating contract isn't as robust as the original onboarding flow. Also, some of the more advanced filtering in the Spend Analytics dashboard can be clunky when trying to drill down into very specific sub-categories

Dislike

The main issues are that although it compresses our files it only has limited compression, the risk that if the file is corrupted then all the data can't be opened and security can be a bit weak.

Dislike

It is not a negative aspect, but it is important to set the realistic expectations: ZIP does not replace traditional core transactional systems. It depends on integrations to execute POs, invoices and payments. Another aspect to consider upfront is that ZIP focuses on processes orchestration and control, not deep financial analytics. It is not negative, just important to set the correct objectives.
