    Zoominfo Copilot Adds Useful Capabilities But Falls Short Of Being a Must-have

    I had the chance to experience Zoominfo Copilot from an admin's perspective for several months after its release in 2024. My employer at the time had purchased the Advanced plan for Zoominfo Sales, and Copilot was automatically added as part of our subscription once released. While it offers a pretty handy set of capabilities that can enhance prospecting and sales outreach to a certain extent, I do not consider it much of a "breakthrough" or a must-have. Instead it feels more like Zoominfo's effort to keep up with the huge demand for all kinds of AI features and to maybe justify the sky-high pricing that they charge. Having said that, the market is currently flooded with similar solutions that offer buying intent intelligence or curated email generation at much more competitive pricing.
