Easy navigation and appropriate info included in the portal helps employees get their financial docs in a single place. Also file downloading in pdf format is one of the good features. Uploading the doc is also quite easy for any type of reimbursement and ITR related things. Portal is simple and user friendly in comparison to other competitors.

“Payroll "not-made-easy" in Workforce Now”

In switching from another payroll platform that just couldn't get wage withholding correct, we went with ADP Workforce Now due to its strong offering in Performance management and tying that to their Learning module for compliance, along with ADP being the largest and most reputable when it comes to payroll and benefits servicing. What we experienced was a very arcane method where there many different ways to perform the same function, a real lack in time and attendance services, limited learning management system offering, and a complex and incomplete implementation process. The benefits component, employee app, and performance management have been okay, but the payroll process really needs to be easier. Human resources support is really more about compliance than helping implement options that the staff prefer or to avoid small issues. And guess what - there are still issues with wage withholding, just not nearly as many as before, so maybe that is a win? Nonetheless, ADP relies on its marketplace of integrated vendors to help fill in some of these gaps, but the payroll process is really not intuitive, not streamlined, and difficult to make adjustments on the fly. We have been with them for over 12 months now and it is still painful every payroll - so much for being the largest and most reputable.

    ADP Workforce Now is a strong all-in-one management platform for both employees and HR departments. Employees go through this system to check in and check out from the office as well as they can check the status of their pay and benefits, and the HR team uses ADP Workforce Now to record all data relevant to employees and also can manage the payroll of the employees. When using ADP Workforce Now there is no need to use multiple systems as it is a very centralized system and has many features which provide ease and do not require the use of multiple systems.

ADP Workforce Now Likes & Dislikes

Like

Recently they added Hide Feature for the numeric values in regard to Salary info that is the first one which I like the most. Second one is the document downloading in pdf at every step which really helps to store the doc safely for future reference. And third, not the least is the availability of all relevant information regarding payroll including CTC and other useful forms are always available for every month.

Like

We were able to tie health insurance benefits to the broker and have it integrated with our carrier. Employee 401k retirement contributions are integrated through Paystart 360 (for an extra fee), which is a nice feature. We have conducted two rounds of Performance management which has gone really well from both an employee and management aspect. The mobile app for employees is pretty good and adequate for managers, but it seems like many of the processes are different through the app than as introduced in onboarding.f

Like

Our account manager really makes a big difference. She is attentive, knowledgeable, and responsive. Working through the more complicated requests and issues we are having is easier because of this. The platform is organized in an easy to navigate manner. Additionally, there is a chat feature that has been very helpful. It makes getting assistance for smaller items faster and more efficient.

Dislike

Not a major one, really. Until some time ago I did not like that just after login all the numbers and figures were visible on screen so we really cannot open the portal in office and in front of everyone however since now that has been resolved it is quite perfect. Second, sometimes I can see that on few navigation full screen is not visible and showing in vertical format which looks bit not good, however rest all is perfect.

Dislike

Time and Attendance module lacks true templating, the ability to tie employees to medical providers schedules that change constantly, and multiple accrual schedules to tabulate properly. Learning Management system has a lot of promise but is difficult to setup and limited by content and features to help employees envision promotion. Wage withholding and deduction errors have been difficult to determine the root cause

Dislike

There are some specialty processes that we would like to implement that ADP is unable to assist with. This has led to some frustration as the requests are not that difficult. Our account manager does her best but it feels like the functionality is sometimes unable to keep up with changing HR requirements.
