1) Ease of use - No coding knowledge required 2) Versatility - Variety of charts allow for user behavior understanding and also identifying failures 3) Product iteration- Very quick to launch new features like agents, etc which make brings in even more value
Standout features are the customization, the granular insights into details that are beneficial, and the user-friendly interface - for an analytics platform it's not overly difficult to use or understand for users with backgrounds in different levels of analytics.
1. Steep learning curve for advanced use cases 2. Pricing and cost scalability 3. Performance limitations with large datasets
No specific major issues. However, 1) I'd like to see better integration between the agents so multiple agents can be combined to generate summary (agreed it is a brand new feature) 2) Would like more than 7 days of hourly data. At the moment hourly timeframe only allows for viewing data over a 7 day period. 3) Better operations at a user_id level. Sometimes uniques function is used with relation to a previous timeframe and subtractions occur at a count level rather than at a user_id level (comparing users from different time periods at a user_id level)
The main issues are the steep learning curve to fully understand the capabilities and how to best use Amplitude. Related to this is the issue of hidden capabilities, feeling like the full capabilities are not easy to understand and wondering if I'm maximising value. Lastly, performance at scale, with large datasets or dashboards can feel relatively slow to load.
