Flexibility to define own reports to extract data, or create SOP documents, or configure workflows, e.g., to perform regular reviews and affirmations of processes.
Process insights and ability to analyze varients in process
Without doubt, the standout feature of ARIS is the ability to perform process analysis in context with the designed processes and other models. It unites the data world with the process world
For infrequent users, it's rather difficult to harvest and benefit from the richness of information and features provided. The offered possibilities (model types) are overwhelming for normal users, requiring customization and filtering to ensure modelling consistency across the organization. Integrating and interacting with the solution in a large, complex organization with its own guidelines and principles can be a challenge.
Very limited flexibility to create analysis. Data integration is very complex to set up and maintain with an extractor. Need a simplified process to integrate data from external systems. No clear way to send updates to users. Row level security will enable better governance. Data pipeline monitoring shall be availble with email notifications. Better documentation is required to understand the coding language in ARIS. Process mining compliance has a rigid setup without any feature to reuse complaince calclutions to deep dive further to improve gaps in processes. very limited type of visuals
- Current inconsistency of configuration mechanisms varying between WYSIWYG and xml. These are improving each release as functionality is moved from ARIS Architect to ARIS Connect but until this is complete, we still find assistance is required on config we would like to do ourselves - The Steps view, which is an excellent summary view of designs, should allow navigation through the assigned model layers to interrogate content instead of having to return to the Diagram view to navigate. - Lack of navigation aids for casual users of ARIS explaining how to access the data rich content

We are utilizing ARIS for process mining, this has been a mixed experience so far. On the one hand this is a great tool to get insights into processes - however to make business decisions the organization aims to do analysis based on processes which may not have a standard nature.
