Performance of Asana Across Market Features
Asana Likes & Dislikes
It is not at all complicated like other tools. One can easily create different projects, assign owners, create your own task list, and get different views as per your need. It has really made keeping track & staying on top of things quite easy.
Ability to link a goal to one or more goal (e.g. linking a key result to two different objectives). The strategy map provides a nice bird's eye view of goals and how they roll up to the top-level strategy. The progress graph provides a nice visualization of the metric tracking for the goal.
With its intuitive interface it allowed me to prioritize and track task efficiently. Its Dashboard allows me to see the progress of projects in real time and gives me a visibility that i didn't have. I liked its integration with other platforms such as Google Workspace and Microsoft Office its helped me to can work with all my resources.
The price is quite high monthly. You cannot create documentation & other stuff on Asana, it is mainly limited to project & task management
Awkward way to update status--there's an update progress button that's for updating the metric progress only; then a user has to figure out that one has to click on the latest status area to provide an status update. Maybe just have an update status button so that it's clear. Weighting should be standard in the product but only comes with Enterprise. Lack of integration capabilities (e.g. true integration with Jira makes it hard to justify working with both tools--one is business friendly and the other is tech friendly).
The subscription was not economical, however, in my company we paid for it I think the price can be a problem for smaller companies. It was difficult for us to adapt Asana to the flow of some projects, we had to complement it with other tools to be able to do it. The problem with the tool being in the cloud is that you completely depend on the internet to be able to use it and that makes it a difficult for you to even work it when there are failures on your internet.

Lacking in Intuitive and Strategic Views and Features for Enterprises
Asana Goals provides basic OKR management features, including setting a time period, ability to link opportunities (related work), setting metrics, owner, and accountable team. The wonky part is updating status. Depending on your role, whether a member or owner of the goal, you get a different view for updating status. This has caused confusion among OKR champions and KR owners. Asana recently updated the UI, and now it's not intuitive that you click on the "Latest status" box to update the status. You end up with people providing status updates in the comments section. Would be great if users had the option to update the metric AND status in one view. - COO<50M USDRetailReview Source

Asana success story.
Before to deciding to use Asana, we didn't have the tools to be able to track our projects, after using this tool errors in tracking were reduced by 60% and we were able to optimize the work in the company, however, the only problem we had was dependence on the internet. - 50M-1B USDIT ServicesReview Source
A comprehensive project management tool with a user-friendly GUI
It is a game-changer tool for our team. It integrated the objectives with day-to-day tasks, and ensures that the teams are always driving our daily actions. - MANAGER, CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SUPPORT50M-1B USDIT ServicesReview Source
A versatile tool for OKRs, but be ready for a learning curve.
Asana provides a structured environment for OKR management. However, despite its potential, the tool often feels cumbersome. While is has the capabilities to manage OKRs efficiently, the adoption rate among our team was not as high as expected, pushing us to simpler tools like Google Sheets
