The ability to customize all of their solutions is the main driving force that we love about Avature. We were able to use their product offerings out of the box, but over the years we've continually been able to customize them to fit our needs. We've also created some brand-new solutions out of their offerings due to how customizable the platform is by the customer.
It's a double-edged sword because customization is nice but then it becomes hard to pull the data because it lives in different places instead of living in one place like other ATS tools I am used to.
It is highly configurable so we are able to easily modify to suit our organizations process. In most cases, we configure ourselves without requiring support from Avature.
Download limits for files that can be hit quickly if doing an audit or similar function. Analytics teams need a custom reporting solution to truly unlock their full potential. It's a great solution, but you need someone who understands the intricacies of how to really use it. There is not a lot of training out of the gate unless you purchase additional training time.
The hardest part for me as a user is to get the data from all our custom forms in an organized and clean way. It's great for recruiters that we can customize the tool as much as we want to, but when it comes time to get insights from the data, we find it cumbersome and complex.
It feels a bit behind on AI solutions compared to other ATS which have been active in this area.
