The people at Cornerstone are fantastic. Very proactive and helpful which made the process as good as it could be. The system is very robust and there are so many offerings available that CSOD could have done a better job of clarifying what was and was not a part of our package. They also could provide more in-depth information on how certain parts of the system work. There were a good number of pitfalls in the process that could have been foreseen by experienced individuals that were not provided to us, causing us to do more trial and error than I think was necessary. But overall the experience has been great and that is truly because of the in-depth hard work of their implementation team and the support provided through their Global Support Center.

We've had several mishaps along the way since implementation. Mistakes continue to happen - we've even had to pull CSOD content and upload it ourselves due to major mistakes that have greatly impacted our organization. We are highly regulated and courses have been deleted. Alternatively, there was no remuneration when this happened - we were basically penalized for pulling content as they would not refund us. Checklists are also a disaster. The limitations with constraints and reporting related to checklists are detrimental to larger organizations. Also, the MS Teams add on is terrible and does not work all of the time. Support has also been challenging - if you do not pay for your own support person, it takes a long time to identify and solve issues.

Customizability is the system's greatest feature; our portal is largely customized to our exact needs. Diversity of features is a strong feature; it can largely operate as a hub for all employee engagement including comms (note some parts are more built out than others). Connecting the dots between training and performance; using Learn & Perform together provides a strong ability to connect employee education with outcomes.

1) The amount of resources and customer service provided to clients is highly appreciated. There seems to be so many resources that it can be a little overwhelming, but I think it's a matter of knowing where to find them and who to go to when you have certain types of questions. Attending in-person customer events like the Regional User Groups helps clarify this, which is wonderful. 2) Well-known brand and scalability 3) Good selection of off the shelf content from Content Anytime add-on

Site design infrastructure: all custom pages in the system had to be built through a rudimentary HTML system that is rather outdated in relation to how web designers work today. No dynamic custom page access: the system does not have the ability to limit access to custom pages based on any form of user criteria. Lack of synergy between some system elements: Cornerstone has acquired many different products and brought them into the same ecosystem, but they do not always play well together. For example, the same word availability may appear throughout the system, but mean different things in different cases. Or introducing certain features like Training Request Forms, may also yield unintended and unexpected consequences due to how they interact with other parts of the system.

1) The UI can be enhanced so there's consistency in the look/feel across all pages (some feel outdated, especially the pop-up boxes that open when you're adding learning objects to curriculums, etc.) 2) Would love to see how AI gets integrated throughout the platform from a systems admin assistant standpoint - it would be incredibly helpful to have AI populate suggestions or recommendations as you enable or disable features that could have implications for other learning objects or configurations 3) Would love to see more breadcrumbs across the platform to make it easier to navigate back/forth instead of having to start over or click so many times to get where you need to get

    Great learning platform with room for improvement

    We have the Learning module, which is a great platform for achieving our learning and compliance needs. It's cool to see the new AI features released and enhanced, but our organization is currently not using the platform to its fullest potential yet. We're intrigued by the AI and skills feature, which we're planning to turn on soon. Overall, we're pleased with Cornerstone's learning tool and plan to continue using it as our LMS. Would recommend it to others too.

    Cornerstone Offers Extensive Reporting and Flexibility

    Cornerstone allows for a lot of flexibility in the use of its products. It also has a great client community where you can find so much great information about how others are using the product. There are a lot of great options for getting assistance with the product between the CSMs, office hours, and global support. My only constructive feedback would be for Cornerstone to better keep their documentation up to date and to give more information to CSMs about the upcoming releases so they can better support clients. It seems as if the CSMs get the same information about releases that clients do so they often can't answer questions like "is there a cost" or "how does it do xyz".

    Cornerstone Offers Strong Integration and Reporting But Steep Learning Curve Persists

    Cornerstone has been great for managing our learning programs, especially with its solid options for reporting and integration with our current systems. I like the customization options for learning paths and the way the system functions for users. The only downside I feel is the learning curve for mastering all of the options that Cornerstone offers. It can be overwhelming and difficult at times to fin the proper support article to address an issue when it occurs.

    Highly recommend the usage of Cornerstone within the enterprise. Helped our organization safely onboard new employees and set our current and future employees up for success as soon as we hand them equipment. The guides are intuitive, and allow for customization based on our environment.
