Implementation of ECM, EFM and HRSD was not only a quick process, but in the end, has saved us a considerable amount of money while improving and automating processes. Processes like employee filing, routing of HR Change tickets and ultimately reducing our headcount needs in that functional area. We also just implemented WFM with success. Although this was not part of my team, (provided only as reference), it has been a huge success and has resulted in cost savings and efficiencies as well.

    Performance management updates lag despite strong reporting customization

    I have worked with UKG at several companies as the system administrator. The customer service is great and they are very responsive in support ticket resolution. I attended their ASPIRE conference for the first time last year and it was an exceptional way to learn more. I would like to see some of their enhancements roll out faster to truly deliver the best end user/developer experience and better meet the needs of HR mangement.

    Streamlined HR tasks with standout self-service, but reporting remains tricky

    Overall, my experience with UKG has been positive. The platform has helped streamline many of our HR and payroll processes, and employees like the self-service feature for things like time off requests and personal information. Like any system, there is a learning curve, and some areas could be more user-friendly, especially when it comes to reporting or troubleshooting more complex issues. Overall, however, it has been a helpful tool for managing day-to-day HR operations and improving efficiency across the organization.

    Significant efficiency gains through automation and streamlined scheduling processes

    The updated product has been a game-changer for our team. The platform is built for the complexities of today's workforce and makes it easy to make system changes using the CRT tables. We are a university and the managing multiple assignments and multiple managers feature has done wonders for us.

    Strong history with UKG: Greater Proactivity in support would elevate experience

    Overall experience with UKG. The platform has remained strong and service has largely rebounded post merger to restore service levels. That said, UKG does work diligently to improve modules, and the UKG Krew Managers find reps to help out on the projects that are in our queue and UKG does have some amazing gems of rep's that are caring and are tenured with UKG.

The ease of implementation, ease of use (including training new people) and ultimately the cost savings we have found year over year has been the best part. Putting an electronic version of our old paper forms, removing filing into paper personnel files and accessing stored documents has improved our processes tenfold.

Its UI is better than some of its competitors

Their reporting tool - People Analytics - really allows for full customization of data and their self-service learning in UKG Coummunity is top notch - and not to mention available at no extra cost, compared to other platforms.

Dislike

Occasionally we find something that for us would make sense to have updated or changed, and the process to do so is to post your idea on a community board, then if it gets enough votes, they will consider it. Although we do not have many improvement suggestions, waiting for other people to like your idea sometimes takes a while. Overall, there are not many issues, not much to complain about.

Dislike

The system is heavily US customized and very limited in its functionality when compared to others. The UKG team has a community that they claim to use to improve their product, but they hardly check it, their solution releases are counter to the feedback provided by its current users

Dislike

Some of the items promoted at their ASPIRE conference in early November are not available to general population at the timelines suggested and the updates are really needed in their performance management and compensation planning tool.
