It offers a complete and unified view of the health of Azure services such as containers, network and virtual machines. It also collects logs and metrics in real time so I can spot it before any bigger problems occur.

Microsoft support can be very frustrating at times (most of the time). Azure monitor requires lots of time and effort to customize it so you don't end up spending too much--also so you don't get bombarded with so many alerts that you ignore them. Not as user friendly, and the web interface sometimes has you navigating between multiple pages just to get simple things done.
Sometimes it requires manual investigation due to the correlating issues also Alerts need tuning or else it will get too noisy.
