Performance of Microsoft Azure Across Market Features
Microsoft Azure Likes & Dislikes
- We have on-premises Active Directory servers and it works well with our hybrid deployment - Great security and identity capabilities which has seamless integrations with other services like Entra ID, Fabric, Intune, Enterprise apps etc. - You don't need to worry about compliance since it meets all compliance and regulatory requirements. It provides all the required documentation no matter if it's for datacenter validations, for GDPR and more
The VM's run great.
First, it provides a wide range of cloud services, from hosting, storage, analytics to AI integrations. It can be used to easily scale resources up or down to meet changing demands, plus, it comes with near-always uptime and strong redundancy. Lastly, it works seamlessly with Windows Server, Active Directory, MS 365 and other Microsoft products.
- You need strong tagging in order to optimize cost and get a clear picture - Performance sometimes feels sluggish - Portal is also a bit overwhelming and goes down frequently
Azure is a very complex tool. Nothing was designed to make management simple for the administrator.
Pricing can be very complex and confusing, making it hard to predict costs. The learning curve is quite steep for newcomers. The interface is also complex, with some features and settings buried or not intuitive. Lastly, deploying WordPress applications can also be very difficult / too complex than it needs to be.

Microsoft Azure Offers Broad Services But Portal Stability Remains a Challenge
One of the great things we like about Microsoft Azure is that it has a consistent identity and access infrastructure whether it be Entra ID, RBAC, Conditional Access, everything works in sync. Another thing is simplified lifecycle operations, like for VM's it has native support for managed disks, backups, monitoring etc. Security is also great, you can have rule based NSGs at the subnet and NIC level. App services are good and offer multiple deployment slots, environment separations and rollbacks. - SOFTWARE DEVELOPER<50M USDMediaReview Source
Comprehensive Cloud Services Offer Scalability But Pose Steep Learning Curve Challenges
Largely positive experience. Offers an extensive range of services for computing, storage, networking and AI making it suitable for both small and large scale deployments. I appreciate the strong integration with other Microsoft products, the robust security features and extensive documentation. Pricing can be complex and their is a steep learning curve for beginners but ultimately, it is a reliable and scalable solution. - Manager Of It Services1B-10B USDTransportationReview Source
Microsoft Azure Delivers Strong Integration and Security With a Steep Learning Curve
My overall experience with Microsoft Azure has been positive, particularly in the areas of scalability, integration with existing Microsoft ecosystems, and comprehensive security. Azure's widespread global data centers improve performance, redundancy and disaster recovery options. While powerful, Azure has a steep learning curve. With so many policies and configurations, sometimes you can find it overwhelming. - IT Associate10B+ USDBankingReview Source
Azure Integrates Well With Business Needs But Faces Occasional Delays and Challenges
Microsoft Azure has done well with integrating to our specific business use cases. While most things go well, Azure sometimes lags a little bit behind other providers; however, it is usually for a good reason as offerings are related with business and security needs first. Support from Microsoft is sometimes difficult; however, Azure support tends to be better than other support groups within Microsoft. - Network And Security Engineer50M-1B USDServices (non-Government)Review Source

Has a great service model that allows one to pay for what is used or consumed, making it a cost effective tool.Amaze most on how it saves time and reduces the risk of errors by automating and simplifying our processes of releasing updates and new versions of our apps.Additionally it allows us to allocate and manage resources eg storage and memory based on specific needs which ensures that resources are always may he'd to the needs of our organization.
