The most liked about the platform is its automation and efficiency of its workflow. It also helps to remove manual labour and email chains with the help of structured approval workflows which ensures the invoices are reviewed and processed promptly. It also has seamless integration features with accounting systems, which definitely minimizes double data entry and reduces the risk of errors that might present in the system.
As a vendor, once you're set up with the client, getting paid is relatively simple. The notifications are nice.
1. The automation of invoice processing and payment scheduling, wich saves significant time 2. The clean and user-friendly dashboard that makes navigation easy even so far new users. 3. Seamless integration with accounting tools like QuickBooks and NetSuite wich keeps our financial data in sync
One of the main challenges with Bill.com is that some of the features and reporting customization can feel limited, but the platform is continuously updating their system to overcome these limitations. Moreover, the permission settings also feel complex to configure which requires skilled manpower to handle it.
I've had horrible experiences with customer service and have been paywalled out of using the product (as a vendor simply trying to get paid from a client) because Bill.com wouldn't let me correctly use the product without re-starting my subscription.
1. The mobile app feels limited compared to the desktop version; some functions are not as smooth 2. The approval workflow can sometimes be slow and takes extra click to finalize transactions. 3. Customer support response time could be faster during peak hours.
