It's simple and user-friendly when setting up events and tickets.
Bizzabo has a laser focus on integrated functionality and a modern and friendly UX/UI. As our attendee and sponsor experience is a top priority, this strength very much aligns with the needs of our customers. Many event technology providers grow through acquisition and often disregard how the various pieces of the overall stack work together. Bizzabo is committed to ensuring that integration of the end-to-end experience is a consistent priority. Lastly, the customer support and success teams are exceptional. You are a name, not a number.
While my feedback isn't directed at Bizzabo itself, the 3rd party partner responsible for creating & implementing our brand approved templates could be more efficient and pro-active. The process took longer than expected with considerable back & forth required to meet our standards. This added unnecessary time to our timelines and ultimately caused delays to our internal launch schedule. I would love to see tighter oversight or improved co-ordination here as the core Bizzabo experience is excellent.
As per the above, the limitations on the ticket transfer that results in missing data and extra work; Limitations on the badge printer that you can use (was quite challenging when I first had to set it up - you have to buy a specific printer, and can only print through iPad, not a phone or laptop, so we had to buy iPads as well); Limitations on the agenda layout on the website and app when it comes to events with multiple streams at the same time (they all show under the same page, and there's no way to create different pages at the moment); Limitations on the website layouts created on Bizzabo - they're not very customisable; Lead scanner app is separate, and a significant cost per each exhibitor.
On select occasions, attendees have faced some challenges with Bizzabo's mobile app, citing it is buggy. This is largely a user issue if the attendee is using an incredibly dated device or hasn't updated to the latest version, however this isn't always the most obvious to the average attendee. In Bizzabo's pursuit of continual and rapid innovation, certain beta features may be buggy at the onset of rollout. That said, the Bizzabo team allows you to choose to opt-in or opt-out of beta feature rollouts. Our perspective as a company is to opt-in to beta features but simply ensure attendees understand that the capabilities are, in fact, still in a testing phase.
