CIQ has been a game changer for our organization for the last 7 years+. It saves us approximately 80 hours per month by eliminating manual spreadsheets and automating all compensation processes. The platform is highly-customizable, easy to build out, and doesn't require a 3rd party to install or manage. Making updates/changes is simple, which allows us to adpat quickly as our needs evolve. Our end users absolutely love it - there's virtually no learning curve thanks to CIQ's clean, intuitive design. The reporting functionality provides real-time pay statement and leaderboard insights that power our end users. Overall, CIQ is one of the best tools we've ever implemented.

One of CIQ's greatest strengths is the high level of customization. The breadth of the differences in our plans is large and it is able to handle our specific business needs without requiring complex workarounds. In addition to the ability to customize, it also allows for standardization within your customizations. This is a huge win as it allows us to create intuitive reporting and use similarities between plans as metrics. I also appreciate the ease of statement design and how professional-looking they are to the end user.

The transparency that it provides is valuable, the Salesforce integration creates a seamless experience, and it makes it easy to know my commission earnings without a spreadsheet.

The Commission's calculations are accurate and its statements can provide deal-level breakdowns.

Dislike

Building any sort of custom reporting was a large learning curve for us when it first rolled out. Once we grasped the concept, we were able to manage on our own to create any other reports and dashboards we needed.

Dislike

While the Salesforce integration is beneficial, it means the system relies heavily on that data quality, which can get messy within larger organizations. The reporting and dashboards aren't robust and offer only basic information. The overall UX could be clearer.

It requires guidance and hands-on experience to set up commission plans, reports, and dashboards properly.

    Powerful commission platform when you have the technical knowledge and experience

    CaptivateIQ provides a solid platform for commission calculation. The support team was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the process. That said, setting up commission plans, dashboards, and reports can be complex and definitely requires more guidance and hands-on experience to get right.
