Immutable backups have helped assure our clients that our backups are secure. We're using it for M365 backups and once it was properly setup we haven't had to make any further changes as it'll pick up new accounts automatically. Policies are easy to configure, check, and deploy.

Cohesity is the leading solution in enterprise backup and recovery software. Ease of use and setup, scalability and most importantly support are excellent.

Sometimes backups will get a warning status but it's hard to determine why as you have to dig through verbose logging to find out. A minor annoyance is that Teams/Sharepoint sites require licensed owners to backup. If you have someone who leaves that happens to be the owner of a SharePoint site, backups will fail until you replace that owner. There doesn't seem to be alerting for issues with the source, whether it fails to find the item to backup or credentials are bad or secrets have expired, you have to dig into the verbose logging on the failed backups to determine why.

Currently have not found any issues with the product or service.

complex initial setup is particularly challenging for teams with limited technical expertise, and troubleshooting sometimes requires manual intervention, especially in complex environments.
