I personally liked their global payroll and compliance. As a recruiter/admin, it streamlines paying our international employees while being compliant with their local labor laws and tax regulations. The platform also offers an all-in-one view where we can process onboarding, contracts and benefits management in an easy to use system. Deel also offers multiple withdrawal methods for employees worldwide, which makes it easier for us. Deel also makes our onboarding of international employees quick and easy without requiring us to set up local entities.
I like that their profile can be customised from international contractors to EORs to independent contractors. They can provide us with customisation to whatever we prefer. From personal time off, to payment currency, to type of employment. Everything.
Speed of Onboarding User-Friendly Interface Compliance and Peace of Mind
However, Deel has been a huge help in the onboarding and payroll process. Deel can be a bit pricey, especially when hiring more employees or contractors. Deel also has limited customization and integrations which limits our flexibility in customizing reports and workflows. Customer support from Deel is also a bit slow, they do respond a bit late and sometimes don't provide a clear answer to our concerns.
I think the fact that it was limited to one country, Singapore, we have a hire that is supposed to be and EOR in Singapore. However, due to some SG policies and product limitations, we were not able to hire him under Deel as EOR.
