(2) Centralized content management and governance with publishing controls and content organization has allowed us to reduce inconsistencies. (3) AI-powered search means customers find what they are looking for fast and search becomes more effective over time.
Some of my favorite features include the ability to preview articles, enhanced searchability through keywords, and the ability to work seamlessly with multiple tabs open at once. Our Customer Success Manager is also attentive to our needs and always willing to support us.
The ability to require agents to comply with new or changed knowledge, acknowledging that they have understood our company changes. Allowing agents to feel more involved with knowledge content by easily submitting suggestions. And the exciting advancements in AI and automated features eGain continuously looks to implement and improve.
There could be more intuitive reporting out of the box, or an easier way to customize reporting. There are some platform limitations on simple things like a rotating banner ad in the knowledge hub. Pricing structures feel overly complicated.
There isn't anything I currently dislike about the platform. My hope is for continued enhancements and feature upgrades as eGain evolves.
There have been a few technical hiccups and product limitations along the way, but eGain works to understand our needs and continuously puts forth efforts to provide solutions. My only dislike is the turnaround time on implementing customization or enhancements, but product engineering and accuracy takes time
