Worked well: demand forecasting at SKUL level, automated data for safety stock and economic order quantity. Directs our daily work (what to order, what to build, etc.) Doesn't work well: some initial requirements/goals for the software were never implemented due to bugs taking higher priority, e.g. KPI's, more strategic workflows like E&O. Bugs created distrust of the system, so employees are constantly questioning its signals.

Customizability, True Care during implementation and post implementation to refine process and functionality

Forecasting is great. We are constantly automatically recalculating forecasts, safety stocks, and economic order quantities based on changes in demand.

So far, our team has liked the forecast reviews by GAINS and replenishment detail screen. Also, I would like to shout out for the Integration work that GAINS consultant has done for us to make the GAINS system work for us.

interface can be a bit clunky at times

Our environment is complex, and it seems that two years after implementation, I don't feel that the dust has settled. Bugs have created distrust in the system and its recommendations. Some bugs actually do drive bad behavior.

I think GAINS could improve on resolving some of the system glitches or small bugs we encounter while switching to different screens or while updating any overrides. Also, updating BOMs and multi-echelon screen updates could be improved little bit.
