Performance of HealtheCare Across Market Features
HealtheCare Likes & Dislikes
As I mentioned earlier, it is easy to get to key parts of the patients EMR, such as face sheet and discharge plan. It also allows for ease of filtering specialties and dates of service.
Rely on a constantly-updated rules engine to catch claims errors and ensure faster submission, resulting in a 94% first-pass resolution rate
Cerner meets all needs of hospital. It is user-friendly and has a useful mobile application. It is web-based, so it can be accessed anywhere.
Cerner provides the bare bones in EMR software, it does what it needs to do without making charting easier.
Redudency in the system - a lot of the same information in different places; interface can be very busy and distracting. Certain tasks can be hard to find initially, but after several days learning the system, it becomes easier to navigate
I'm fully satisfied with the product.

It's Ok For Hospital EMR
As far as hospital EMR goes, Cerner gets the job done with some mild annoyances here and there. It took me a while to learn how to get the full functionality out of it. I do like how patient notes are stored and how it allows me to access face sheets and print results easily. Cerner does not go out of it's way to make the EMR experience better as it does not offer any solutions to make charting easier. It is also pretty dull to look at and use. - Business Analyst<50M USDHealthcare and BiotechReview Source

I think the best part is the universal nature of epic. In my experience, it is the most used EMR system across the country. This makes medical record transfer easier and lessened chance of needing to learn how to use a new system. - Account Manager50M-1B USDHealthcare and BiotechReview Source

Powerful Electronic Health Record, but needs more flexibility for its clients
I was part of a team that trained 3000 staff on Cerner back in 2014. I do like the product but find that the vendor seems to often say "can't be done" when really when I worked on the vendor side we never said no, we found a way, so found it frustrating when we started.
