Pretty straight forward and easy to use. Separate IAM console to manage all the users under the account.
Product provided what was required while available.
There are rich bare metal server profiles on the IBM cloud compared to other vendors and they peer with other Cloud vendors in many locations where we can setup direct link to for network inter connectivity this is convenient and flexible when it comes to the hybrid Cloud deployment strategy, also their local support team is very supportive and helpful.
Sometimes the products such as Cloud Pak for Data virtualization services would go down with no clear explanation except the backend database needed to be rebooted. Also hard to get specific support sometimes when necessary. No initial support for query banding with Teradata and no LDAP support with MongoDB. IAM security also too simplistic. Need a more robust and granular IAM system for management across the Cloud.
The need to move away from IBM Cloud mid-contract.
For some of their data centers, they don't have VPC and PaaS services available. And there are many maintenance events that can be troublesome to our business operations. Lastly, we hope we can get better discounts on their products and services.

When Skytap on IBM Cloud was available, the service performed as it should with no complaints. Unfortunately, the Skytap offer changed which resulted in us having to move to Azure to access the service. This could have been managed better and more notice provided.
