Overall the experience has been positive because the platform delivers clear and actionable insights for resource optimization. Automation works well once properly configured and has reduced manual effort. The main challenges have been related to initial setup complexity and tuning recommendations for specific workloads.

We have integrated Datadog for our infra and application monitoring. What I like about Datadog is that it's a unified observability and monitoring platform across the entire stack. It brings together infrastructure monitoring, APM, logs, traces and even security metrics into one platform. Dashboards are highly customizable and interactive, showing real-time data. This allowed our team to detect anomalies quicker and visualize trends and the health of our infra components.

Overall experience has been positive due to string visibility into cloud costs and clear optimization insights. The platform is intuitive once configured and helps teams quickly identify waste and savings opportunities. Some of the advanced features still feel immature and require more tuning.

Finout as a product, and the support team at Finout have been a pleasure to work with over the past 6 months. Throughout the implementation, the team has been easy to work with, engaged, communicative, and have made the transition to Finout easy. I didn't feel rushed into bad or unsure decisions due to some arbitrary implementation timeline. The team is knowledgeable about the product and has done a great job getting to know our business enough to help us make the right implementation decisions. Best of all, the team was able to help us get our month end report process operational within the first 2 months of implementation, something that we weren't able to do over 3 years with a competitor's solution. Finout is a very powerful and flexible cloud cost management reporting solution. While the company and its tools are newer to the market, the features are rich and offer a fresh take on cloud cost reporting that isn't siloed into multiple products or strategies. Instead, it's one, unified, powerful, but easy to use reporting tool that's able to consume and display not only standard public cloud cost and usage information, but pretty much any other cost and usage data you have from other solutions within your platform. We were even able to ingest data from an internal reporting tool on a specific product and build leadership reports from that data using the same easy UI. The ability to integrate cost and usage data across your platform is a very useful feature for a FinOps team looking to truly understand that unit cost. Finout not only provides quick ad-hoc reporting tools but also more detailed traditional reporting tools for wholistic analytics. It provides dashboarding, anomaly detection, budgeting/forecasting, and resource optimization and cost optimization recommendations.

As someone who helped select CloudZero for my company as well as being someone who administers and uses it, my experience has been very positive. It's not a "plug it in and get magic" sort of tool, but it is a force multiplier if your organization is ready for it, and a stark mirror if you're not. This software also helps us in budget planning and forecasting, which is an essential element for my organization to analyze the occupancy and needs of the guest; it also provides streamlined resources by identifying the idle resources and allows the organization to focus more on the product which is required for the organization and helps in reducing the over cost. Overall, ServiceNow Cloud Cost Management is the most valuable tool for the organization as it helps the finance team to control the budget and allows them to work on decision making and align IT cost with organizational goals.
