What is Infobip ?

Infobip’s CPaaS is a global cloud communications platform that enables businesses, platform vendors, and developers alike to build connected experiences across all stages of the customer journey to drive revenue, reduce costs and increase LTV. It is an omnichannel solution with a full stack of programmable communication elements, including over 30 communication channels such as SMS, RCS, Voice, Video, Email, messaging apps like WhatsApp, Viber and Messenger, and authentication solutions. On top of this stack, Infobip offers a suite of SaaS business applications, all optimized for seamless omnichannel communication, including Moments customer engagement platform; Answers chatbot-building platform; Conversations omnichannel cloud contact center; and People customer data platform. Companies can either use Infobip's modular building blocks and APIs to build their solutions or work directly with the company’s in-house experts to develop solutions specifically tailored to their needs.

Infobip’s CPaaS pricing model is based on a transparent pay-as-you-go usage of the messages sent across the various channels such as: Email, SMS, Viber, WebRTC, WhatsApp and Voice. Pricing is also dependent on the country and operator network.

Infobip is a very reliable communication & omnichannel platform with strong product capabilities. Our team used it to automate order management notifications for a leading healthcare distribution group in the UAE, responsible for medical supplies across hospitals and clinics. Objective was to replace all manual order follow-ups and fragmented email/SMS updates with one unified communication layer integrated into their ERP order-to-cash process.

The account manager that we are dealing with is prompt to response. However, as we are working with integration with a new system with Infobip, we are not getting the level of support that we require for integration and we have to move from person to person and integration is delayed. The solution built between Microsoft and Infobip is not able to support our need especially for India country where it is a huge market for us. Support email does not response promptly to our request.

Platform handles high volume, time-sensitive healthcare order messages without delays or failures. API design is clean and developer-friendly. Strong regional support. Seamless ERP integrations. Omnichannel capabilities, especially the verified WhatsApp Business Integration, provide full visibility across the customer notification journey.

The product is stable, sometimes there is an error / defect that occurs, but it is under 5 incidents per year. Hence, resulting the smooth process of onboarding and transaction processing of the end user (customer)

Pricing - could be better optimized for mixed-volume portfolios, where large and small business units share the same enterprise account. As with many other tools, analytics can always be improved, i.e. more granular and customizable.

The technical support for any enquiries is not prompt that does not match up to the pace of my organisation.

The product is quite advanced in terms of 'open-source' technology (i.e : using APIs). and the easy integration with the product.. The support team provides a good support with clear explanation related on how to address the issue hence we are in good hands

    We have been working with Infobip for well over 5 years now and we have had nothing but amazing service, specifically with our account manager Shaun. The product in terms of functionality is the "Rolls Royce" of our industry. Myself as a project manager wouldn't use any other system for our clients if it weren't for a budget constraint from our client.
