The features and strengths of the system include the ability to manage a contract workflow (cradle to grave) from beginning to end directly in the system. This has enabled our Contracts group to reduce back-and-forth emails outside the system that can sometimes create bottlenecks in the contracting process. The system also simplifies things for the contract requestor by providing a smart form questionnaire, which our group can customize for our needs. This questionnaire is also helpful to the Contracts group because it engages the requestor to provide all the required information needed to complete the contract. The system enables email communication to occur with a requester directly in the system within the request record. This is important because not only does it allow a documentation of the communication to be permanently attached to the record, but it also allows the status of the communication and request to be organized for the Contracts Manager. One of the best features is a user-friendly dashboard for all users, providing a status of their contracts and other relevant data regarding their use in the system.
The signature process is much easier. Our end users love the request process. Using the features that allow us to add terms and provisions into the agreement while in Word saves a ton of time. The request process has actually saved us a lot of time and created a smoother process for our end users. The software seems to work very fast on the back end.
User capability comes to mind first, with adequate training materials for new users, and it is extremely customizable (repository only wise) to what the user wants.
Because we are still learning how to grow new divisions of our company in the system, it is a bit challenging because of how development of Organizations and Legal Entities are limited or affected by direct access to those systems. It would also be helpful to analytical data be tracked for longer than a 12 month or quarterly periods. As a growing company, a minimum of 24-month metric periods are needed. IntelAgree is integrated with our Dynamics CRM sales system. It is unfortunate that we are unable or unaware of how to obtain more detailed data on requests coming from the CRM system.
The process for updating expiration dates is extremely manual. When we evaluated the product, we were under the impression that the product was very automated, we have not found that to be the case. The attributes are not typically accurate and we have spent a ton of time cleaning up the attributes, organizing the files, renaming the files and updating the expiration dates. It would also be very nice for our end users to be able to request renewals directly from the parent file and 'pre-populate' all of the information from the underlying file. That would save everyone a ton of time organizing for everyone and keep things related and connected.
The only part I dislike about the product as of right now, is the lack of communication that we experienced between their user implementation team and their sales team, as we wanted to look at expanding our relationship with the product, but there was a lot of miscommunication that occurred that caused confusion and frustration on our end.
