Ironclad CLM Likes & Dislikes
- Very easy to update/edit/change a workflow design (or a contract generated by a workflow design) if you spot an error or are making a general change to your form. I can make most requested changes in less than a minute. - It's easy to duplicate an existing workflow design to use as the basis for another one that may have a similar structure and launch form questions, saving a lot of time in the setup process. - The transparency provided by the Activity Feed has been incredibly helpful when we've had personnel changes in our team (or vacation coverage issues) and needed to move responsibility from one team member to another. - The dashboard view is fully customizable, and I have several different views available at a click. I can immediately see what's waiting for me to look at, what's in my pipeline but not ready for me yet, what I've sent out, what I have paused, and what's out for signatures. I'm more organized than I've ever been, and I've been handling contracts here for over 20 years now.

Read Full ReviewThe Requester experience and workflow configurability continues to be one of the strongest features. The workflow engine provides and outstanding set of configurations and tools to adapt to our approval policies and contracting paths. The rollout and enablement supported by Ironclad proved to be a cost-effective option for us when implementing Ironclad. Because of our previous experience with the platform and the systems ease of use, we were able to implement the application from scratch within 3 months with minimal consultant help. Finally, the account team and learning library within Ironclad are both fantastic at providing support. From the responsive account team to the in-depth articles and step-by-step guides in the library, there is no lack of support for your questions.
Read Full Review- Searching for a pending or completed workflow is inconsistent at best. Using quote marks to narrow what I'm looking for only helps sometimes. - We love being able to email documents to the counterparty directly from the IC workflow, and have that email drop into the Activity Feed - however, when the counterparty responds, we cannot respond to their email from IC and are forced back into our email system instead. - In the April user interface update, IC combined all workflow documents (the ones being signed) with reference documents in a single document view. You can't tell at all, from the tabs in that document view, which documents are those being negotiated. Also, the document view will only show Word and PDF files, so if your reference documents (like a price list) are in Excel, the document view will say that it's a Word document (when it isn't) and then give you a viewing error.

Read Full ReviewOut-of-the-box analytics and reporting are improving, but some operational questions still push us towards periodic data exports for deeper analysis. Additionally, renewal notifications and date queries still remain an elusive challenge.

Ironclad Workflow Easy to Edit, but Still Many Opportunities for Improvement
The process of creating, designing, and building a workflow in Ironclad is surprisingly easy to do, and incredibly easy to update/edit/change after it's originally published for use. Both the legal and business teams really love it. My only negative is that the repository is poorly designed, and the April user interface update created more problems than it fixed. - SR. Configurable Workflows and Ease of Use Highlight Ironclad CLM Implementation
I led the evaluation, implementation, and adoption of Ironclad's CLM. We selected Ironclad over two other competitors after a structured RFP that clarified pricing and capabilities. Implementation was collaborative and supported by Ironclad's enablement programs. We aligned workflows with our DoA and developed internal guidance to ensure scalable governance. Operationally, we've integrated Ironclad Signature, expanded adoption across departments, and built reporting processes around contract data. The platform has proven to be intuitive, flexible, and well supported. Overall, it continues to fit our growing needs and pace for maturity in the contracting space. - SOLUTION SERVICES MANAGER50M-1B USDSoftwareReview Source
Ironclad: A Perspective from a Services Department.
My experience with this vendor has been excellent. From the attention provided during our initial implementation to the care we receive now as a live customer, I have no complaints. Ironclad solves a huge gap that was previously present in our contracting process, and does so with outstanding results. The product is easily supportable and scalable with the help of an internal administrator. The internal administrator should be an individual who has experience with internal processes, but who is excited to learn more about a new process. The challenges my organization has, is not with Ironclad itself, but rather with replacing our internal processes with the obvious clear decision of moving forward with Ironclad. - Director of Legal Ops and Contract Management50M-1B USDRetailReview Source
Ironclad Delivers Efficiency + Savings with Intuitive UX and Kazien Development
Everyone I've worked with at Ironclad has been friendly, competent and professional. It's not a hard sell, and people give straight answers and follow up. Their product is user friendly, intuitive, easy to implement (we migrated from a different legacy CLMS), and simple for legal to administrate/update independently without help from IT or others. It has made it possible for us to manage the incoming work and scale, even with reduced people resources. Ironclad has a pretty unique community of users that help each other and share information and best practices. Ironclad listens to input and responds with product updates/improvements. The addition of Jurist has been game-changing, allowing quick issue spotting, review and risk analysis to be done in minutes, as well as memo drafting, legal research, and more. - Program Manager1B-10B USDIT ServicesReview Source
Ironclad: Effective Communication and Flexibility Boost the Sales to Legal Experience
The tool itself, as all tools must, has both benefits and limitations. The reason behind my 5 star rating is that the Ironclad team is incredibly communicative, flexible, and candid about what they can and can't do. That, combined with the significant developments and improvements they've made to enhance the tool since our deployment, show a strong focus on customer experience, and active feedback gathering, to make Ironclad as effective as it can be.
