One of the best aspects of LinkSquares is the user-friendly and intuitive interface, which makes navigating the platform and managing contracts within it simple and efficient. Additionally, the Microsoft Word plug-in provides a seamless way to edit agreements, make internal comments, complete tasks and upload new versions, all within Word. The AI Assist function within the plug-in is one of the best AI tools I've worked with, and offers accurate responses and legal-based drafting. Finally, the clause library is an invaluable resource for storing frequently used clauses approved in our organization and easily adding new ones from current agreements.

I have enjoyed the Drafting Rules feature in the Word plugin. It has allowed me to leverage AI to expedite extensive customer contract reviews by creating a set of rules that reflect our tolerance for risk. The template workflows have been an easy way to streamline our various workflows. Last and certainly not least, my Account Executive, Ethan Hendricks, set the tone for a consultative, collaborative relationship from the outset. Demos were tailored to our specific use case in the logistics arena, with a clear focus on house LinkSquares could provide immediate and measurable value.

While LinkSquares offers many strong features, there are a few areas for growth. The post-signature lacks an AI chatbot for this real-time assistance, but I understand this feature is in development, which is promising. On the pre-signature side, the out-of-the-box reporting options are somewhat limited; while custom reports can be created, they come at an additional cost. Lastly, navigating the contract negotiation and workflow process tends to be easier when there are fewer reviewers and approvers. That said, some of this complexity stems from our own internal processes rather than the platform itself.

Their commercial model make them very cost prohibitive for large scale legal contract projects.

Transparency on future features and clarity around which features would be excluded from our subscription. During the sales and discovery process, these features were discussed in a manner that led me to believe that they would be a part of the broader product experience. Because there was no opportunity during contract negotiations to lock in access to future features, I am unable to take advantage of these enhancements without requesting an additional increase in CLM spending.
