LinkSquares has many standout features that we utilize every day, but one of the ones we like the most is its flat library, which utilizes a tagging system to identify unique agreements. This structure allows for flexible searchability and agreement standardization across all of your agreements. The structure comes with comprehensive searchability through tags, agreement name, agreement type, content and other more specific searches like proximity searches and global terms. This allows you to find agreements based on questions from a business unit with little understanding of contracts. The post signature module comes with an event's calendar which tracks and displays auto-renewal dates with scheduled reminder's to ensure that important opt-out dates are not missed.

Their AI engine is one of the best in the industry and fairly accurate in meta-data abstraction and insights

One of the best aspects of LinkSquares is the user-friendly and intuitive interface, which makes navigating the platform and managing contracts within it simple and efficient. Additionally, the Microsoft Word plug-in provides a seamless way to edit agreements, make internal comments, complete tasks and upload new versions, all within Word. The AI Assist function within the plug-in is one of the best AI tools I've worked with, and offers accurate responses and legal-based drafting. Finally, the clause library is an invaluable resource for storing frequently used clauses approved in our organization and easily adding new ones from current agreements.

The overall software experience is extremely strong, but one aspect we dislike is the number of tabs the software opens when viewing agreements in its Analyze module. We also wish there was some more cross functionality between the modules in Finalize (pre-signature) for example, you cannot run an AI summary on a PDF, but you can in the Analyze module (post-signature). Finally, emails sent from LinkSquare's get blocked by some counterparty firewalls making it difficult to communicate natively through the system

Their commercial model make them very cost prohibitive for large scale legal contract projects.

While LinkSquares offers many strong features, there are a few areas for growth. The post-signature lacks an AI chatbot for this real-time assistance, but I understand this feature is in development, which is promising. On the pre-signature side, the out-of-the-box reporting options are somewhat limited; while custom reports can be created, they come at an additional cost. Lastly, navigating the contract negotiation and workflow process tends to be easier when there are fewer reviewers and approvers. That said, some of this complexity stems from our own internal processes rather than the platform itself.
