What I like most about the product is how well it works for managing multiple environments and large-scale websites. It supports controlled publishing processes and enables close collaboration between technical teams, marketing, and design.
- Ability to admin many sites - personalisation of the sites - Technology used
What I like most about Jahia is the ease of managing modules and versions. The installation and upgrade process is well structured, and module lifecycle management is clear and reliable. This makes maintenance and evolution of the platform easier, especially in complex environments.
The main weaknesses of Jahia are related to: 1. Overall, environment management and troubleshooting can be time-consuming and require deep platform knowledge 2. Project and site creation could be more intuitive and descriptive, as the current flow is not completely clear. 3. Reorganizing already created categories is not possible to realize 4. Publishing new content sometimes may take a while to realize
The difficulty to onboard the product on a technical point of view ( I am a web dev)
The main weaknesses of Jahia are the learning curve and overall complexity for new users, especially for advanced features. Module development and customization can require strong technical expertise. Administration and configuration interfaces could be more intuitive, and operations (upgrades, troubleshooting) require careful planning and experienced resources.)
